Sarah + Sean // Wedding at Ryan Family Farm
Though Covid hindered their original plans last year, Sarah and Sean could not have picked a more perfect Hudson Valley location to tie the knot. At Ryan Family Farm this incredible place offers intrinsic contemporary appeal and elegant details in every corner. That, along with the fun-loving vibes beaming from everyone there, I knew right from the moment I showed up that this was going to be a wedding to remember. And luckily, as their wedding photographer, I’ve got the most exquisite wedding photos to prove it!
PS: Shout out to Sean at Sean Patrick Cinematography for memorializing the day even more! You were an absolute dream to work with!
The Preps and Peaks
I have shot many weddings throughout my career as a Hudson Valley wedding photographer, and every single one of them was so invigorating to experience. But after working with Sarah and Sean several times before and watching their family grow along the way, this particular wedding was one that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
For starters, the moment I stepped on the scene I was greeted and connected with some of the most amazing group ladies I have ever met. As each lady got dolled up by makeup artist Beauty By Daniela and Sarah slipped into her stunning Martina Liana dress from Be Unique Boutique. Her dress was also paired with beautiful florals from Something Borrowed Blooms. There was endless laughter, jokes, and wholesome sister love.
In short, every bride needs a crew of ladies who have their back, and Sarah certainly had that from start to finish. And let’s not forget each and every one of them looked like a queen!
But wait! Let's not forget about Sean! Getting all decked out in a classy grey suit with a supportive group of his own, he was more than ready to say his 'I dos.' But not before a quick first look.
Ceremony Time!
The moment everyone has all been waiting for. Friends and family start heading to the outdoor ceremony (thank you weather for staying rain-free!) and take their seats. As Sean patiently waits at the end of the aisle, the bridesmaids and groomsmen each walk down and take their place, followed by one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen.
As a Hudson Valley wedding photographer, I have to take a quick moment to point out the phenomenal backdrop of this ceremony. The modern yet rustic red barn contrasting against the pink, white, and gray tones made for stunningly colorful wedding photos. And yes, I totally got teary-eyed when they solidified their ceremony with that first (really second) husband and wife kiss with all their loved ones cheering in pure, elating happiness.
Dance Baby Dance
The preparation? I laughed until I cried. The ceremony? Beautiful in every possible way. But what really made the day end so authentically perfect was none other than the celebration. The scene was so vibrant, bright, welcoming and filled with strong love and 'let loose' vibes, which is noticeable in the many wedding photos. Intertwining the aesthetics and hues with the delicious catering by Clock Tower Grill, the too-good-to-eat cake designed by Creative Cakes by Jen, and the full-scope entertainment from both Miss Summer Orlando and Barbra Joan Streetsand, the fairytale Hudson Valley after party was quite literally something you only see on TV.
Congratulations Sarah and Sean!
In the end, I am so humbled and incredibly honored to have the opportunity to capture this beautiful and downright amazing day. Not only were these long-time clients of mine who entrusted me with their most important milestones, but it was such a joyous and fun experience that I will forever look back on and cherish. And let’s not forget a completely adorable thanks to little Parker!
With that being said, thank you Sarah and Sean for allowing me to capture your Hudson Valley wedding (plus your engagement photos and maternity before this) and reminding me just how precious life truly is. Congratulations again to the both of you, and I wish you nothing more than a lifetime of love, happiness, and tons of wedding photos to look back on this wonderful day.
